Aishwarya Arun, a Mumbai-based technology professional with nearly two decades of experience in the IT industry, has built her life around perseverance and growth. While her professional journey was progressing steadily, life presented her with unexpected challenges when she was diagnosed with thyroid cancer and later experienced two episodes of stroke.
These experiences became defining moments that changed how she viewed life and success. Rather than slowing down, Aishwarya chose to rebuild her life with renewed determination. During this period, she continued advancing in her career while also pursuing an Executive MBA. The experience strengthened her belief that challenges can become opportunities to rediscover purpose and create new paths forward.
Discovering Writing Along the Way
Aishwarya’s journey into the world of writing began unexpectedly. She often describes herself as an “accidental author.” Her introduction to writing happened when she participated in the 5 Day Author Challenge, an initiative that encourages aspiring writers to publish a book within a short timeframe. Through this challenge, she published her first book in just five days.
What started as a simple creative experiment soon became an important outlet for reflection and storytelling. Writing gave her a way to process experiences and connect with readers through honest and relatable narratives.
Since then, Aishwarya has written eight books that explore themes such as resilience, self-discovery, relationships and personal growth. Among them are The Silver Linings, Forty and Fabulous and her latest book Pyaarfect, a fiction story that explores modern relationships and the evolving dynamics of love.
Through her books, she hopes to encourage readers to reflect on their own journeys and see how moments of difficulty can often lead to meaningful transformation.
Expanding Storytelling Through Digital Platforms
Building on her passion for storytelling, Aishwarya recently launched two creative platforms called AishVerse and Aish Amuses. Both platforms were introduced on International Women’s Day, a deliberate choice that reflects her commitment to celebrating women’s voices and experiences.
These platforms together form what she calls the “Aish” creative universe. AishVerse focuses on inspirational stories, reflections and personal journeys that encourage readers to find strength and perspective in everyday life. Aish Amuses, on the other hand, brings a lighter dimension to storytelling by sharing humorous takes on relatable daily situations.
By combining inspiration with everyday humor, the platforms aim to create content that feels authentic and accessible. Through these initiatives, Aishwarya is expanding storytelling beyond books into digital formats, allowing her to reach a wider audience.
Creating a Space for Authentic Voices
At the core of Aishwarya Arun’s work is a simple idea: every story matters. Her experiences have shown her that resilience often grows from the ability to reflect, express and move forward.
Through her books and storytelling platforms, she hopes to encourage others, especially women, to share their own journeys without hesitation. By creating spaces like AishVerse and Aish Amuses, she aims to build a community where stories of growth, humor and everyday life can coexist.
Aishwarya’s journey from overcoming serious health challenges to building a creative storytelling ecosystem reflects the power of reinvention. Her work continues to highlight how resilience, creativity and authenticity can shape new beginnings and inspire others to embrace their own stories.
