In today’s fast-growing world of digital storytelling, authenticity often stands out the most. One such inspiring story is that of Ankita Mazumdar, a Bengaluru-based lifestyle and parenting content creator who transformed personal grief into a meaningful and impactful online journey. Known on Instagram as @iam_ankitamz, Ankita has built a strong community of over 151,000 followers, sharing relatable content around parenting, lifestyle, and everyday moments.
Ankita’s path into content creation was anything but planned. A naturally creative person since her school and college days, she pursued diverse academic interests. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology, later studied Fashion Designing, and also earned an Advanced Diploma in Interior Designing. Creativity had always been a part of her life, quietly waiting for the right opportunity to express itself.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Ankita began recording cooking videos. However, those videos never made it to social media. Fear of judgment and uncertainty about how people might react held her back from sharing them publicly.
Life soon took an emotional turn that would change everything. During the pandemic, Ankita lost her mother—an experience that deeply affected her and marked one of the darkest phases of her life. While navigating this grief, she found a new reason to smile when she welcomed her baby.
What began as simple recordings of her child—small memories, everyday moments, and family travels—gradually became the foundation of her content. At that time, Ankita wasn’t aiming to become a content creator. She was simply capturing moments that mattered.
Then came an unexpected turning point. Brands began noticing her authentic content, and collaboration emails started arriving. What once felt unimaginable slowly began to take shape as a professional opportunity.
The journey, however, was far from easy. Like many creators starting out, Ankita faced self-doubt, challenges, and moments of uncertainty. But with what she describes as her mother’s blessings from above and unwavering support from her husband, she continued to move forward.
Today, Ankita has collaborated with over 500 brands, establishing herself as a trusted voice in the parenting and lifestyle space. Her brand collaborations include well-known names such as FirstCry, Cloudnine Hospital, Pampers, Nestlé, Horlicks, Roff Cera, Nova Fertility Center, Novotel Hotels, Little Joys, and Gritzo, among many others.
Her growing influence has also led to several prestigious invitations within the creator ecosystem. In 2024, Ankita was invited as a creator for the launch of new products by Prega News, where she attended the brand’s exclusive creator event. In 2025, she participated as an invited creator at the Nestlé Ceregrow launch event in Mumbai, collaborating with fellow digital creators and experiencing the brand’s latest initiatives firsthand.
The same year, she was also invited to the Meta Creator Event in Bengaluru, where she engaged with fellow creators, explored platform updates, and participated in networking opportunities within the growing digital creator community.
Looking ahead, Ankita’s vision as a creator remains deeply rooted in authenticity and purpose. She aims to continue building a positive digital space where she can share genuine experiences that both inspire and educate her audience. Through her platform, she hopes to raise awareness about parenting, lifestyle, and everyday life while collaborating with impactful brands that align with her values.
For Ankita, content creation is not just about influence—it is about connection, responsibility, and community. Her journey stands as a reminder that sometimes life’s most painful moments can become the starting point for something unexpectedly beautiful.
Today, through every post, story, and video, Ankita Mazumdar continues to inspire thousands by proving that healing, creativity, and resilience can turn even the most difficult chapters of life into a meaningful story.
