Let’s dive in!
1. Can you take us back to the moment when you decided to start your blogging journey? What inspired you to focus on parenting and lifestyle?
It all began when I became a mom. Motherhood brought immense joy but also a whirlwind of questions, doubts, and learnings. I realized that many parents, especially first-timers, might feel the same way. My goal was to create a safe space where I could share my experiences, insights, and solutions to common parenting dilemmas while embracing the ups and downs of family life. Due to COVID-19, I started documenting my journey, and that’s when I found my passion for blogging. It became my way of connecting with others on this beautiful yet challenging journey.
2. How did your experiences as a mom shape the themes and content of your blog? Were there any specific challenges that motivated you to share your journey?
Motherhood gave me a new perspective on life. Every milestone my child achieved and every challenge we faced together became a story worth sharing. For instance, navigating picky eating habits or managing screen time were challenges that resonated with many parents. These personal experiences shaped the themes of my blog—parenting tips, child nutrition, and lifestyle hacks that could help make life a little easier for others.
3. Before becoming a prominent blogger, what were your initial career aspirations? Did you ever imagine that parenting and lifestyle blogging would become your calling?
I started my career in a corporate setting, focusing on content creation and brand management. While I enjoyed my work, I always had a creative side that craved expression. Blogging wasn’t something I envisioned, but once I started sharing my journey as a mom, it felt like a natural extension of who I am.
4. Journey as a Blogger and Expert
My blogging journey has been a mix of self-discovery, connection, and growth. Over time, my platform evolved into a resource for parents seeking practical advice and relatable stories. Becoming certified in child nutrition added credibility and allowed me to share expert-backed insights, bridging the gap between my personal experiences and professional knowledge.
5. Parenting comes with its ups and downs. How do you balance sharing authentic moments while maintaining your family’s privacy?
Authenticity is key to my blog, but so is respect for my family’s privacy. I focus on sharing lessons and insights from my experiences rather than personal details. For example, I might discuss strategies for handling tantrums but avoid posting videos or photos of my child during vulnerable moments. It’s about maintaining a balance that feels right for us.
6. What role did your certification in child nutrition and care play in shaping the content you create for parents?
The certification helped me understand the science behind child development and nutrition, enabling me to offer evidence-based advice. Whether I’m writing about healthy meal ideas or debunking parenting myths, my goal is to provide parents with reliable, practical guidance they can trust.
7. As parenting evolves with changing times, what trends or challenges do you think modern parents will face in the coming years?
One major trend is the increasing reliance on technology in parenting—from educational apps to virtual playdates. While tech can be a wonderful tool, it also raises concerns about screen time and its impact on children. Additionally, parents are navigating societal pressures to “do it all,” which can be overwhelming. Striking a balance between traditional values and modern approaches will likely be a significant challenge.
8. What’s next for you? Are there any upcoming projects, workshops, or ideas that you’re excited to share with your audience?
I’m currently working on a parenting e-book that combines practical advice, recipes, and activities to help parents navigate the early years. In addition to that, I’m also putting together a special surprise—an exclusive compilation of even more healthy recipes! Alongside these, I’m planning to host workshops focused on child nutrition and emotional well-being. Stay tuned—there’s a lot of exciting content coming your way!
9. What advice would you give to aspiring mom and lifestyle bloggers looking to share their stories with the world?
Start with authenticity and passion. Share your unique voice and experiences because that’s what will resonate with your audience. Don’t be afraid to learn as you go—experiment with content formats, engage with your readers, and stay consistent. Most importantly, remember that your journey matters, and there’s always someone who can benefit from your story.
